OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: Nomination of qualified candidates of Stenographer Grade ‘C’ (PA grade) Limited Departmental Competitive Examination (LDCE), 2012 & 2013.

The undersigned is directed to say that this Department had intimated 126 vacancies(UR 93, SC-15 and ST-18) for the PA Grade LDCE-2012 to the Staff Selection Commission(SSC). However, against the said reported vacancies, the SSC has recommended 13 candidates (UR-12 and 1-SC) for appointment to the PA Grade for the Select List Year 2012 on the basis of result of the above mentioned examination. Out of these 13 qualified candidates of PA grade LDCE-2012, 3 candidates have already been qualified the PA grade LDCE-2011 and 3 candidates have been promoted to the PA grade on regular basis for Select List Year 2010(SQ) and nominated to different cadre units and 1 candidate had joined in MEA after tendering the technical resignation. In addition, 3 PAs have been promoted to the PA grade on regular basis for Select List Year 2012(SQ) and nominated to different cadre units, however, they have opted their preference for LDCE-2012 quota.

2. Further, SSC has recommended 2 candidates (UR-2) against the reported 112 vacancies (UR-86, SC-17 and ST-9) for appointment to the PA Grade for the Select List Year 2013 on the basis of result of the above mentioned examination. Out of these 2 qualified candidates of PA grade LDCE-2013, 1 candidate had qualified the PA grade LDCE-2012. The remaining 7(6 LDCE-2012 + 1 LDCE-2013) candidates are hereby considered for nomination to Cadre Units of CSSS as shown in the Annexure.

2. The Cadre Units are requested to ensure the followings before notifying the appointments:

(i) Verification of the particulars furnished by the nominated candidates in the dossiers with the original entries in their respective Service Books.

(ii) Vigilance clearance.

3. The unfilled vacancies of this examination, including vacancies reserved for SCs and STs, would be carried forward to the subsequent Select List year in accordance with the CSSS Rules, 2010.

4. It is requested that the nominated candidate be relieved immediately for appointment to PA Grade in the nominated Cadre Unit. These nominated candidates may be included in the Select List of PA Grade of CSSS for the nominated Select List i.e. SLY- 2012 or 2013 in the manner indicated in the CSSS Rules, 2010. Copies of appointment orders may be endorsed to this Department and the SSC. The dossiers of nominated candidates are forwarded herewith for keeping the same as part of their Service Books.

5. Receipt of this O.M. together with the enclosure may be acknowledged.

The undersigned is directed to say that SSC has already conducted the Lower Division Grade Limited Departmental Competitive Examination for Group ‘C’ Staff, 2014 on 23.03.2014. Further, SSC has been requesting this Department to intimate the vacancies for the LD grade LDCE, 2014.

2. As the LDCE for the Select List year 2014 has already been held on 23.03.2014, it is requested that the requisite vacancy position may please be furnished to this Department, in the prescribed proforma urgently by 24.04.2014. Even Nil vacancy may also be furnished n the prescribed proforma.

Subject:- Combined Section Officers’/Stenographers’ (Gr.’B’/Gr.I) Limited Departmental Competitive Examination, 2009, 2010 and 2011.

   The undersigned is directed to refer to UPSC’s letter No. 1/16(4)/2012-E.VI dated 13th May, 2013 (copy enclosed) on the subject mentioned above requesting the concerned departments to furnish the ACRs/APARs for the period from 01.04.2005 to 31.03.2012 on or before 20th May, 2013. This Department vide OM of even number dated 25th February, 2013 and subsequent reminders dated 14th March, 2013, 11th April, 2013 and 30th April, 2013 had requested all the cadre units to keep in readiness the complete ACR/APAR Dossiers of all the candidates, who have appeared for the post of Section Officer of CSS and Private Secretary of CSSS for the Combined Limited Departmental Examination, 2009, 2010 & 2011. It was also requested if there are any ACR/APAR, which are missing or below benchmark, appropriate action, if any, in respect of them may be completed in terms of DOP&T OM No. 21011/1/2010-Estt.(A) dated 13th April, 2010 and other relevant instructions on the subject.

Section Officers’/Stenographers’ (Grade’b’/Grade’i’) Limited Departmental Competitive Examination, 2009, 2010 & 2011.

            The UPSC has announced the results of the written part of the SOs’/Stenographers’ (Gr.’B’/Gr.’I’) Limited Departmental Competitive Examination, 2009, 2010 & 2011 held by the Union Public Service Commission in December, 2012 for addition to the Select Lists for the Section Officer’s and the Stenographer’s Grade’B’/Grade’I’ of the services, the candidates with the under mentioned Roll Numbers have qualified in the written part/shorthand test for evaluation of service records.

2.         The candidature of all these candidates is purely “PROVISIONAL” subject to review at the stage of evaluation of service records. If at any stage of the examination process a candidate is found to be not eligible for any of the year of examination i.e. 2009, 2010 & 2011 his/her candidature for any particular year/years is liable to be cancelled.
