Subject:- Regularisation of allotment on re-transfer to the last place of posting.

It has come to the notice of this Directorate that some allottees of General Pool Residential Accommodation (GPRA) have retained their accommodation at their last place of posting in contravention of the extant guidelines and instructions on the subject. In this regard, reference is invited to the Rule 54 of Central Government General Pool Residential Accommodation Rules, 2017(CGGPRA Rules, 2017) and it is reiterated that the allottees who have retained General Pool Residential Accommodation (GPRA) at their last place of posting due to their transfer/ posting at non-family stations in violation of the provision of the CGGPRA Rules, 2017 or the extant guidelines, shall not be considered for regularisation of GPRA at their last place of posting.

2. This issues with the approval of the competent authority.

Online bookings* are made through Website of Holiday Homes i.e. http://holidayhomes.nic.in

Online Booking Flow Chart

Step I: Press the button – Apply Online.

Step II: Apply for Booking.

Step III: Filling all details in application form.

Step IV: After completing application form, the system, subject to availability of room, will lead to Payment Gateway where applicants have to pay booking charges along with convenience charges/transaction charges/service charges reflecting on the screen through debit card & Internet banking.

Step V: After successful payment to be confirmed by the bank, the room will be allotted to such applicant by the system and booking confirmation slip will be generated along with SMS.

[N.B: 1. Confirmation Slip after verification from the Administration of the applicant needs to be submitted at the counter of Holiday Home.

2. There is no provision for cancellation/refund once the applicant has submitted the application/booking charges and consequently booking is confirmed.]

a) Fill all the sections of application form and thereafter, get it verified by the applicant’s office.

Retired Government employees should enclose copy of the PPO/Pensioner I.-Card submit the application.

b) Enclose Pay Order/Demand draft/Banker’s Cheque for the full amount of room charges etc.

c) Deliver the complete application + Demand Draft/Banker’s Cheque to concerned Booking Authority.

d) Queries, if any, may be sent to concerned booking authority.

* Application will be accepted only where booking is made through offline. Confirmation will be subject to availability.

   Booking of rooms/suits of holiday home at Shimla, Agra, etc. is made by different booking authorities (i.e. EM, Kolkata’ AEM’ Chennai and AEM, Nagpur) but demand draft/pay order is received in the name of Assistant Estate Manager, Shimla or Assistant Director of Estates (Cash), New Delhi as the case may be. After confirmation of booking of holiday home, the demand draft/pay order received by the aforesaid booking authorities is then sent to AEM, Shimla or Assistant Director of Estates (Regions), New Delhi for deposit in the Government account. Such practice takes considerable time in actual realisation of revenue to the Government.
