   Applications are invited from Male and Female candidates for the combatised post of Assistant Sub-Inspector (Stenographer-Grade-III) and Head Constable (Ministerial) in Central Reserve Police Force as per tentative vacancy position given below.

1. Assistant Sub Inspector

No. of Posts : 245 (UR – 113 ; OBC – 63 ; SC – 43 ; ST – 26)

Pay Scale : Rs. 5200-20200+GP-2800/-

Qualification : Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent passed from recognized board or university.

Skill test : Dictation : 10 minutes @ 80 w.p.m.  ; Translation: 50 minutes(English), 65 minutes (Hindi)

2. Head Constable (Ministerial)

No. of Posts : 895 (UR – 318 ; OBC – 263 ; SC – 111 ; ST – 203)

Special Training for CRPF

   CRPF personnel including CoBRA Bns personnel deployed in Left Wing Extremist (LWE) areas are being imparted training on Sector Weapons and Tactics and in Counter Insurgency & Anti Terrorist (CIAT) courses to contain the Naxal menace as also for better development of intelligence. All the Asstt. Comdts of CRPF to undergo 06 months Army attachment immediately after their basic training to prepare them for deployment in Anti-Naxal Operations (ANO).

   These are some of the steps have been taken for infusion of professionalism in CRPF to make it responsible to the present need. These also include:-

   CRPF have Training Academies including Counter Insurgency & Anti-Terrorist (CIAT) Schools and Central Training Colleges (CTCs) where various in-service courses are conducted for Officers/SOs/Jawans to improve their professionalism.
