Recruitment of Sub-Inspectors in Delhi Police, CAPFs and Assistant Sub-Inspectors in CISF Examination, 2017 – Declaration of Final Result.

1. The Staff Selection Commission conducted a Computer Based Examination for recruitment of SubInspectors in Delhi Police, CAPFs and Assistant Sub-Inspectors in CISF Examination, 2017(Paper-I) from 01.07.2017 to 07.07.2017. The result of Paper-I was declared by the Commission on 06.09.2017. Paper-II of the said Examination was held on 15.12.2017 for those candidates who qualified in PET/PST. The result of Paper-II was declared on 29.01.2018 for shortlisting candidates for Medical Examination.

According to the result write-up dated 26.09.2018, 4959 candidates (4126 male and 833 female) were called for Document Verification. Further, as per result write-up dated 05.10.2018, 117 additional candidates (95 male and 22 female) were also declared qualified to be called for Document Verification. Accordingly, a total of 5076 candidates (4221 Male and 855 Female) were qualified for Document Verification of the said examination.

2. Based on merit-cum-preference, candidates have been finally selected and allocated to the following posts:- A-Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police B-Sub-Inspector in Border Security Force (BSF) C-Sub-Inspector in Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) D-Sub-Inspector in Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) E-Sub-Inspector in Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBPF) F-Sub-Inspector in Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) G-Assistant Sub-Inspector in Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) 3. The Commission has been receiving complaints from candidates about technical issues being faced by them in filling up online applications. Hence, in the interest of the candidates, it has been decided by the Commission to extend the closing date for receipt of applications for Selection Posts Phase-VI/2018 by one more week i.e. from 06-10-2018 to 12-10-2018 (5.00 PM).

2. Payment of fees through challan of SBI only, will now be accepted by the Commission within the working hours of the Bank upto 15-10-2018, provided the challan has been generated before 5.00 PM of 12-10-2018.

3. It may be specifically noted that no further extension of time will be given beyond 12-10-2018 (5.00 PM) for submission of online application forms for the said Examination.

Applicants of the Constable (GD) in CAPFs, NIA, SSF and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination, 2018 may note that the last date for submission of online applications along with online fee payment for the said examination is 30-09-2018 (5 PM). Payment of Fee through Challan can be made at the designated Branches of SBI within the working hours of the Bank up to 03-10-2018 provided the said challan has been generated before the closing date of receipt of online applications i.e. 30-09-2018 (5.00 PM).

SSC 54953 Constable(GD) Vacancies in CAPF – Last Date Extended

Last Date for Online Application has been extended upto 17.9.2018 and Online registration process for SSC GD Constable has been already started from Yesterday (17.8.2018).

Due to launching of new website for SSC, online application process was disturbed and the date of online process has been extended twice by SSC. Now, finally announced the facility of One-time Registration process started with effect from 14.8.2018. The submission of Online Applications would only re-commence from 17.8.2018 at 10 AM. The last date for submission of Online Application would be 17.9.2018 (5 PM).

Already, the SSC has provided both these facilities on its new website with effect from 25.7.2018, but because of a very heavy load of applicants, the new website of the SSC has become very slow, for which reason, it was temporarily withdrawn by the SSC.

As the new website of SSC may take some time to stablize, for initial few days, to minimise the inconvenience to candidates, applicants are advised to also utilize off-time or non-peak hours of 10 PM to 8 AM for making One-Time Registration and filling of Online Application Forms.

The SSC also assured that who have already registered on the new website are assured that their data is secure with the SSC and that they will not be required to register again.

Filling 2 Million Vacancies in Various Departments

Filling two million vacancies in various departments

Filling up of vacancies in various Government offices, Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) and other departments is a continuous process.

The vacant posts in Government Ministries/ Departments are required to be filled as per the Recruitment Rules for them.

Recruitment to various posts in Government of India is made through various recruitment agencies constituted for the purpose such as Union Public Service Commission, Staff Selection Commission, etc. Ministries/Departments and the recruitment agencies have been sensitized to take all the required steps for filling up of the posts within the time line.

Department of Public Enterprises (DPE) is the nodal department for Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs) (excluding Banks and Financial/ Insurance organizations), CPSEs are under the administrative control of their respective Ministry/ Department. The employment in CPSEs depends upon their requirement as per their expansion/ investment plan. Further, CPSEs are having their own policy for recruitment for below the Board level posts under broad guidelines issued by the Government from time to time.

In order to give wider publicity to the notification of vacancies, Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) in November, 2016 decided that advertisement of vacancies shall now be mandatorily placed at the National Career Service (NCS) Portal, developed by Ministry of Labour and Employment. This will be in addition to other procedures as notified earlier.

As per the Annual Report on Pay and Allowances of Central Government Civilian Employees, the number of vacant posts in position in various Ministries/Departments is 4,12,752 out of total sanctioned strength of 36,33,935 as on 01.03.2016.
