SUBJECT: TWO DAYS STRIKE ON 12.02.2014 & 13.02.2014 BY AIDAEA (HQ) KOLKATA.

ALL INDIA DEFENCE ACCOUNTS EMPLOYEES ASSOCIATION (HQ) KOLKATA HAS GIVEN A CALL FOR STRIKE ON 12.02.2014 & 13.02.2014 IN SUPPORT OF THEIR CHARTER OF DEMANDS (COPY ENCLOSED). ALL CONTROLLERS ARE REQUESTED TO TAKE NECESSARY MEASURES FOR A NORMAL WORKING IN ALL DAD OFFICES.

THE STAFF BE CAUTIONED THAT PARTICIPATION IN STRIKE MAY ATTRACT DEDUCTION OF PAY/BREAK IN SERVICE AND DISCIPLINARY ACTION INCLUDING RECOURSE TO PROVISIONS FR 17, 17A AND RULE 7 OF CCS (CONDUCT) RULES.

KINDLY ENSURE SMOOTH FUNCTIONING OF OFFICES UNDER YOUR ORGANIZATION.

A REPORT TO THIS EFFECT ON THE FUNCTIONING OF OFFICES UNDER YOUR CONTROL AND THE NUMBER OF EMPLOYEES PARTICIPATING IN THE SAME MAY PLEASE BE RENDERED ON 14.02.2014 BY FAX.

SUBSEQUENTLY, LIST OF EMPLOYEES PARTICIPATING IN STRIKE MAY BE PREPARED AND SUBMITED IN DUE COURSE.

Subject : Payment of Dearness Allowance to Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS) at revised rates w.e.f. 01.07.2012 onwards - reg.

   Consequent upon grant of another installment of Dearness Allowance with effect from 1st July 2012 to the Central Government employees, vide Government of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Expenditure, O.M. No 1(8)/2012-E-II(B) dated 28th September, 2012 , duly endorsed vide this Department’s letter No. 8-1/2012-PAP dated 28.09.2012, the Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS) have also become entitled to the payment of Dearness Allowance on basic TRCA at the revised rates with effect from 01.07.2012.  It has, therefore, been decided that the Dearness Allowance payable to Gramin Dak Sevaks shall be enhance from the existing rate of 65% to 72% on the basic Time Related Continuity Allowance,  with effect from 1st July, 2012.

Reference: This HQrs office Important Circular bearing even number dated 24/8/2011.

   Attention is invited to Ministry of Finance, Deptt of Expenditure, OM No. 19024/1/2009-E.IV dated 16.9.2010 reiterating guidelines on Air Travel on Tours/LTC, circulated vide this HQrs office circular bearing No.AN/XIV/VIth CPC/Circular/Vol-IV dated 16/09/2010 and this HQrs office important circular dated 24/8/2011. wherein it was requested to give wide publicity to the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Finance, Deptt of Expenditure concerning air travel and booking of air tickets only from authorized travel agents by Officers/Staff of the Defence Accounts Department.
