  1. Item 40 of the agenda for the 5th National Anomaly committee meeting scheduled on 17 July 12 is regarding denial of 1 last incr to those retiring on 30 June since they cannot be on roll on 1 July to qualify for their last incr. This despite all such employees completing mandatory 12 M of service in their last year of service.
All serving and retired staff should PREVAIL UPON THE REPR OF SERVICE ASSOCIATIONS OR PENSIONER ASSOCIATION ATTENDING THE MEETING TO ENSURE THAT OFFICIAL SIDE IS IMPRESSED UPON THE INJUSTICE. The rule of ON ROLL on 1 July needs ammendment only for those retiring on 30 June. This will be feather in the cap of the service associations who got the employees 1 inc denied in 2006 for those falling for incr between Feb and June. The govt order was issued due to the unstinted efforts of all UNIONS especially for Railways
