Government/Aided Engineering Colleges – Pay anomaly between
Assistant Professors and Lecturers – Rectification – Clarification -
Regarding.

I am directed to invite attention to the reference cited and to issue following clarification sought for therein as below:-

services rendered in the
Selection Grade Lecturer post
drawing the pay in the prerevised scale of 12000-420-
18300 and the Assistant
Professor post drawing the
scale of pay in the pre-revised
scale of 12000-420-18300
may be taken together for
computing the three years for
awarding of “Associate
Professor” since both the
posts carries same scales of
pay and accordingly they may also be allowed to draw the
revised pay scales of
Rs.37400-67000+AGP 9000
and be re-designated as
“Associate Professor”. |

computing the three years for
awarding of “Associate
Professor” since both the
posts carries same scales of
pay and accordingly they may control of Principal and part of
service as Assistant Professors
(due to promotion) under AG’s
control can also be given the
scale of 37400-67000 +AGP
9000 taking into consideration
both the service as they carry
same scale of pay in the prerevised scale. | |
