Finalization of the 7th pay commission report is underway, no further meetings in future

Further to the memoranda received from a variety of Organisations, Federations, Groups representing civil employees in the Government of India as also from the Defence Services, the Commission has had fruitful and wide ranging discussions on relevant issues with all stakeholders. Such interactions have now been concluded. Valuable inputs have been received and the work of compilation and finalization of the report is underway, so that the Commission completes its task in the time frame given to it. Accordingly, any future requests for meeting with the Commission will not be entertained.

  1. First of the proposed scale of pay/ other details related to pay revision has not come out to under go various level of discussion including final discussion despite 18 months.with staff association everything is kept guessing/kept under darkness hitherto, just like cat on the wall.when the cat will come out of the bag what is the out come of the discussion. As such no more further discussion with staff association is totally meaningless.the 7th CPC is meant to act upon the direction of the govt to reduce the genuine benefits of employees it cannot act upon independently even to the least that is the reality. then why at all 18 months time and further extension is given for this simple calculation.apart from that the present govt is not going to increase the IT exemption limit for the financial year 2016-2017 thereby the salary hike of the employees will bcome subject to heavy tax recovery. Association must demand now itself IT increase limit in the light of 7th CPC
    implementation.
