Amendment in Rajasthan Civil Services (Pension) Rules, 1996.

NOTIFICATION

No. F.12(6)FD(Rules)/2009

Jaipur, dated : 27.09.2013

Subject: Amendment in Rajasthan Civil Services (Pension) Rules, 1996.

   In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Rajasthan hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Rajasthan Civil Services (Pension) Rules, 1996, namely :-

   1. These rules may be called the Rajasthan Civil Services (Pension) (Amendment) Rules, 2013.

   2. These rules shall come into force with immediate effect.

   3. In the aforesaid rules -

   (i) the existing words “Department of Personnel” appearing in Rule 151 shall be substituted by the words “Department of Personnel and Finance Department’.

   (ii) after the existing Rule 164, the following new Rule 164A shall be inserted, namely -

   “164A. Notwithstanding anything contained in Rule 149 to 164, in cases where the post is lying vacant in any service and regular recruitment to the post shall take time and the post can not be retained vacant in public Interest, in such cases the retired Government servant who have not completed the age of 65 years can be reemployed with the prior concurrence of Department of Personnel and Finance Department for one year at a time or the regularly selected persons are available for appointment, whichever is earlier. Such retired reemployed employees shall be allowed consolidated remuneration as decided by Government in Department of Personnel from time to time. During the period of reemployment only casual leave shall be admissible and any other kind of leave with remuneration shall not be admissible”
