General Provident Fund (Kerala) Rules — Non-Refundable withdrawal from General Provident Fund for the purchase of motor car and motor cycle/scooter- Basic Pay Limit- Revised - Orders issued.

Read:- 1. G.O.(P) No. 85/2011/Fin dated 26.02.2011.
2. Letter No. FM. 1/1-5/2011-12/1214 dated 02.01.2012 of the Principal Accountant General (A&E), Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram.
3. Rule 28 (A) (1) (I) (g) of General Provident Fund (Kerala) Rules.

ORDER

   As per reference 3rd cited, the Basic Pay for availing Non-Refundable Advance for the purchase of motor car and motor cycle/scooter stands at Rs. 20,700 and 7,990 respectively. The Principal Accountant General (A&E), vide letter 2nd cited has requested to revise the basic pay limit for availing Non- Refundable withdrawal from General Provident Fund for the purchase of motor car and motor cycle/scooter to 36,140 and Rs. 13,900 respectively in terms Government Order under 1st cited considering the revision ordered therein.


   Government have examined the matter in detail and are pleased to revise the existing basic pay limit for availing Non-Refundable withdrawals from General Provident Fund for the purchase of motor car and motor cycle/scooter as Rs.36,140 and Rs. 13,900 respectively with immediate effect. Necessary amendment to relevant rules of General Provident Fund (Kerala) Rules will be issued shortly.
