Sub: Grant of Selection Grade (N.F.) Rs.7500-12000 in favour of TGT teachers - Reg.

   The undersigned is directed to refer to the minutes of the PNM/AIRF Meeting held on 2lst & 22nd December 2010 on the above subject. As decided in the Meeting the subject of applicability of instructions regarding possessing Post Graduate qualification in the teaching subject for grant of Selection Grade

from the date of issue of clarification in this respect vide Railway Board’s letter dated 14.12.2001 has been considered in consultation with the Finance Directorate.

   2. After consultations with the concerned Directorates it is stated that the Federation’s demand for making the condition of possessing the Post Graduate Qualification in the teaching subject for the grant of Selection Grade applicable from the date of clarification i.e. 14.12.2001 issued to Railways, is not found feasible for acceptance.

   3. In view of the position explained above, the item may please be treated as closed.
