ORDER
In the G.O read above, orders were issued revising the scale of pay and allowances of State Government employees and teachers.
The Accountant General (A&E) Kerala,vide letter read as second paper above has sought clarification in the matter of admissibility of City Compensatory Allowance in city limits of Kollam and Thrissur Corporations since Kollam and Thrissur Corporations are deemed as B2 class cities for the, purpose of HRA in the G.O. read above . After having examined the matter, the Government are pleased to incorporate the following note under para 15 (page 5) of the G.O cited since the criteria for consideration of B2 class cities for the purpose of HRA & CCA is the same.
Note: (1) B2 class city for the purpose of CCA means the cities of Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Kochi, Thrissur and Kozhikode.
