Sub:- Safely Related Retirement Scheme covering safety categories with Grade Pay of `.1900/-.

Ref: Board's letter of even number dated 28.06 2011.

   Further to Railway Board’s above referred letter and as Stipulated in para 2 (vi) of Railway Board’s letter No. E(P&A)I-2001/RT2 (KW) dated 02.01.2004 it is reiterated that the wards of the employees seeking retirement under the Scheme would be Considered for appointment only in the lowest recruitment Grade Pay of `.1800/- of the respective category from which the employee seeks retirement, depending upon his/her eligibility and suitability. However, the wards of Drivers would continue to be Considered for appointment in the initial recruitment Grade Pay of `.1900/-p.m. as ALP.

   2. This issues with the concurrence of the Finance Directorate of the Ministry of Railways
