Sub: Emoluments reckoned for calculating retirement/ death benefits of staff working in the Construction Organizations – AIRF’s PNM Item No.7/2009

   The issue of payment of settlement dues to the staff of Construction Organizations was discussed between AIRF and Railway Board(FC and MS) on 25th January, 2011, wherein it was agreed by the Railway Board that the orders issued by the Railway Board vide their letter No.F(E)III/2007/PN1/4 dated 19.8.2010 would be withdrawn within a week and suitable orders would be issued, so that the employees working in the Construction Organizations can draw their settlement dues based on the last pay drawn.

   Unfortunately, till today nothing has been heard from the Railway Board in this regard.

   The Board are requested to withdraw their letter ibid dated 19.8.2011 at an early date.
